How it felt when the home was destroyed?

How it felt to flee away?

How it felt when the heart shattered?

How it felt to be invisible?

How it felt to not have a soul?

Not able to find that place,

No where belonged,

No where invited,

To be an alien in the human world,

Trying to fit those shoes!!

  எட்டா உயரம் எனது, என உரிமை கொண்டாட்டமும் அல்ல, "தனது" என்ற அரவணைப்பும் அல்லாது, வான் நின்று பார்க்கும் உயரத்தில், காகம், குருவி, பட்டாம்பூச்சிகள், மின்மினிப் பூச்சிகள், சிறு தும்பிகள், சில நேரம் கழுகுகளும் கூட இளைப்பாறிவிட்டுச் செல்ல, மாரி பொழிய, சிறு இடி ஓரிரு இடங்களைத் தாக்க, மின்னல்கள் பாய்ந்து செல்ல, ஒளி மாறா வீசி ஓங்கி நிற்க, இரவில் மட்டும் நினைவில் வர. நட்சத்திரம் தொட ஆசை — கூரை தடையாய். நிலவின் நிகர் ஒளி அளிக்க ஆசை — வீட்டின் நான்கு சுவர்களின் நள்ளிரவு இருள் தடையாய். சுதந்திரக் காற்று வாங்க ஆசை — வேலி தடையாய். சற்றே கீழே அகல்விளக்கு ஒன்று, தன் சுற்றம் ஒளி பரப்பிக்கொண்டு, காற்றில் போராடி ஆடிக்கொண்டே, மங்கிய ஒளியில் நிழல் ஆடி அசைய, மனைவி மறைந்து நிற்க, வீட்டின் ஜன்னல் வழியே எட்டிப் பார்க்க, நின்றாள் மாதவி தெருவிளக்கு நிழலில்! -- கீர்த்தி திருநாவுக்கரசு குறிப்பு : அகல்விளக்கு → இல்லறத்தைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்த பெண். வீட்டுக்குள், தன் குடும்பத்திற்குள் ஒளி தருபவள். தெருவிளக்கு → அந்த வாழ்க்கையைத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்காத பெண். எல்லோருக்கும் தெரியும்; ஆனால் யாருக்கும் சொந்தமில்லை. மாதவி ...

  Going back on time, ⁣ To be the kid once we were, ⁣ To revisit those days,⁣ To cherish those moments, all again.. ⁣ Is that so? ⁣ Asked heart :⁣ Honestly do We? (murmured brain) ⁣ We never wanna be kids again, ⁣ We never wanna go back to school,⁣ We never wanna hide those snacks under the desk again, ⁣ We never wanna skip those class for not finishing our homeworks, ⁣ We never want our favourite shows to retelecast to watch it on a rainy day,⁣ We never want to rush back home to eat our favourite food, ⁣ We never actually wanted to go back, ⁣ All along we always wanted them to be ever when we cant be, ⁣ Searching for the good old days, ⁣ Efforts to recreate those exact same moments,⁣ To feel those exact excitements back once again, on the shows we used to enjoy, ⁣ Doing the exact things that we used to, ⁣ To feel the same how it used to be a kid again, ⁣ Still, the haunting emptiness engulfing us slowly,⁣ Only to know we never ever miss being little,⁣ We miss the days where hearts...
